    Resend Overview

Resend is an email platform built for developers to deliver transactional and marketing emails that reliably reach inboxes. It combines an elegant API and SMTP interface with SDKs for popular languages (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Go, Java, .NET, PHP, Rust, and more) so teams can integrate quickly and send at scale. Beyond sending, Resend brings full visibility into deliverability with intuitive analytics, detailed logs, and modular webhooks for real-time events like delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, complained, and more. A modern visual editor plus React Email components make it easy to design, preview, and iterate on templates without wrestling with raw HTML tables. For product teams, startups, and enterprises alike, Resend focuses on deliverability from day one: regional sending to reduce latency, managed dedicated IPs with automatic warmup and autoscaling, blocklist monitoring and remediation, BIMI guidance, and DKIM/SPF/DMARC verification to protect domain reputation. Contact management (Audiences) helps you import lists, manage subscriber attributes, and stay compliant with customizable unsubscribe pages. Test Mode lets you simulate events safely in development without emailing real users. Whether you’re building passwordless auth, purchase receipts, onboarding flows, or newsletters, Resend provides the tooling, observability, and infrastructure to ship email with confidence.

    User Reviews

    Guillermo Rauch, CEO at Vercel

Resend is transforming email for developers. Simple interface, easy integrations, handy templates. What else could we ask for.

    Vlad Matsiiako, Co-founder of Infisical

Our team loves Resend. It makes email sending so easy and reliable. After we switched to Dedicated IPs, our deliverability improved tremendously and we don't hear complaints about emails landing on spam anymore.

    Brandon Strittmatter, Co-founder of Outerbase

I've used Mailgun, Sendgrid, and Mandrill and they don't come close to providing the quality of developer experience you get with Resend.

Giovanni Keppelen, CTO & Partner at VOA Hoteis

All of our customers are located in South America, so having a solution that could send emails from the region closest to our users is very important. Resend's multi-region feature is a game-changer for us.

What is the default API rate limit?

The default rate limit is 2 requests per second. Responses include standard RateLimit headers. You can queue requests or contact support to request a higher limit.
